![]() ![]() ![]() I've made a few misplays along the way, lost a few non-hero characters, actually, 1 to the ennemy in the second mission (because I rushed on the objective like an idiot and didn't get to set up a massive grenade trap on the whole map, so I wasn't in position to close the emergency hole ), and 4 soldiers to friendly fire :D (I'll get to this later). But it's actually not as hard as I thought it would be once you understand all the mechanics. To be honest, when I started it, I really didn't think I would make it. I've finished an Insane campaign of gears tactics first (and died SO many times), and then first tried my 2nd playthrough in Insane Ironman (going blind is impossible). So that someone asked about it here motivated me to write the post I was looking for myself :)įor the reference, I've played a lot of x-com long war 2, in legendary ironman as well, so I'm pretty good at tactical games. I've seen one asian guy with one viewer on twitch in Act3 once, and of course TorNis, but that was it. I think this subreddit isn't very alive anymore, but I'll take the time to share, so hopefully a few of you see it as I had quite a lot of fun doing the run.Īlso, I've been watching twitch a few times and searched reddit for anyone running Insane Ironman or posting a similar post like the one I wrote below, but didn't see many people play or discuss. I'm not sure how to tag, so hopefully you'll see it :) Pre-Note: I was typing this as a reply to " guobob2005" in his post "Anyone Beat Insane Ironman?", but I couldn't post it due to a 10000 words limit, so I decided to make a whole post of it.
